Indian Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) invites online applications from eligible candidates for appearing in Common Written Exam for recruitment of Officers (Scale-I, II & III)http://www.chaitanyashivaram.blogspot.com and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in Regional Rural Banks in India. Earlier IBPS was appointed as an autonomous body by 19 Nationalized Banks to conduct Common Written Exam for recruitment of Clerks, Probationary Officers, Management Trainees, and Specialist Officers. Now IBPS is extending it’s service to Regional Rural Banks setup by these Nationalized Banks in various parts of India. The Recruitment Exam Rules & Exam Details are as follows. This is an eligibility test. Candidates seeking jobs in Rural Banks should compulsorily appear for this exam & score good marks in order to get eligible for the future recruitments in these banks. The Govt. of India & NABARD has approved this exam & made it mandatory for recruitment. The score card issued by IBPS is valid for applying for recruitment of 82 Gramin Banks in India.

Name of the Exam : Common Written Exam (CWE – 2012) for Officers & Office Assistants (Multipurpose) in RRBs

Education Qualification : Degree in any discipline with Proficiency in local language. Candidates applying for Specialist officers should have qualifications like CA / PG in Finance / marketing / Degree in Agriculture / Horticulture / Dairy Science / Animal Husbandry / Forestry / Veterinary Science / Agricultural Engineering / Pisciculture or allied specializations.

Age Limit (As on 01-06-2012) :

• Officer (Scale – I) : Not more than 40 years
• Officer (Scale – II) : Minimum 21 Years – Maximum 32 Years.
• Officer (Scale – III) / Office Assistant (Multipurpose) : Minimum 18 Years – Maximum 28 Years.

Fees : Rs. 450/- for Officer Post & Rs. 350/- for Office Asst. Post (Rs. 50/- for SC/ST/PH) Exam Fees can be paid either through Online mode or through Offline mode at any core banking (CBS) branch of any one of Bank of Baroda , Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Indian Overseas Bank, Punjab National Bank, United Bank of India.
